The Sun Dome I is a lower temperature unit that typically heats water to 130 F on a sunny day (about 50 F above the outdoor air temperature). This hot water can be used for the same purposes as the hot water from the faucet at home; washing dishes, washing clothes, bathing, whatever. It can also be used for drinking and cooking as long as the water is clean and potable.
We have developed a new type of solar hot water heater for camping and other outdoor remote locations. This simple portable heater heats faster, hotter and can pasteurizes water for drinking.
The user simply fills the heater, sets it in the sun and walks away. The heater doesn’t require alignment, adjustment, use electricity, have batteries, or produce green house gases. All you need is water and sun light.
